Content Summary: The inaugural Issue of the St Andrews Law Journal presents a variety of papers on subject matter spanning electronic privacy, case law precedent, contractual workplace rights, Cold-War era defection and spycraft, the power of institutions independent of government in enforcing their own pandemic lockdown restrictions, and international trade law's respect of human rights - this is to only name a few. Our objective was to present law as an interesting subject where anyone from any background can become involved in law and legal research, we hope these papers exemplify the potential for multidisciplinary, extracurricular legal writing at St Andrews.
