Ethnographic Encounters: Digital Research Methods
Vol. 12 No. 1 (2022)
As the Covid-19 pandemic has shifted many aspects of our lives to online contexts, this special issue of Ethnographic Encounters reflects upon what this shift has meant for our research practices. For the first time in the history of the journal, we also open our submissions to all the departments of the University of St Andrews and to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. This has created an issue with space for interdisciplinary reflections upon the new opportunities and challenges brought by the conditions of digital research.
Ethnographic Encounters
Vol. 11 No. 1 (2021)
After many months of work, delays, and edits, we are happy to announce our latest publication of Ethnographic Encounters! Created in the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, this issue strays from the usual content of Encounters projects and invites old projects, the book reviews which replaced fieldwork, and an array of essays. Many of these works reflect the intersection of Anthropology with other disciplines including psychology, history, literature, art, art, and more. We hope you enjoy reading these articles as much as we have and, as always, a big thank you to our editors and designers for making these happen!
