Ethnographic Encounters is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for our upcoming edition! 

The EEJ is a student-run academic journal affiliated with the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of St Andrews. Dedicated to showcasing the depth and breadth of student scholarship, we publish original ethnographic work that reflects the diverse research and perspectives from students within the department.

For Issue 13, we are looking for:

  1. SA2002 Ethnographic Encounters Projects from current honours students (3rd and 4th year) (3000 words)
  2. SA2002 Auto/sensory ethnographies from current second year students (1500 words)

Deadline for submissions: April 20th

The editorial team will then review your submission and inform you of the result by May 2nd.
